Our mission at Angels on The Fairway is to assist multiple charities and shelters that provide for the safety and positive change for women and children who are, or have been the victims of domestic violence and abuse. The continuing problem of domestic violence towards women and children throughout the world is something none of us can afford to ignore. Angels on The Fairway works to financially assist many national organizations in the fight against domestic violence. We do this through the donation of proceeds from our event auctions. We are firmly committed to the fact that all women and children have the right to live free from domestic violence and all other forms of abuse.
  

WOMEN FOR WOMEN INTERNATIONAL Women For Women International (Relief for Rape Victims) - Fed. I.D. 52-1838756 Women for Women International is a non-profit organization designed to help women in war torn countries achieve stability & independence by providing them with counseling, job training & most of the women involved have found outlets to band together & pull the money provided to them by starting their own businesses. This foundation helps them move from rape victims to survivors to citizens. Our donations help women in one of these three countries (depending on who needs the help the most) The Democratic Republic of Congo where journalist Lisa Ling has quoted on the Oprah Winfrey Show which aired on January 24, 2005 as "the worst place on earth". Rwanda, where women are piecing their lives back together 10 years later from the genocide of racial cleansing between the Hutu & Tutsi tribes. Lastly Nigeria all these countries in the same region. All these countries run by Europeans who then left them to fend for themselves in times of war. Our goal to help 100 women has been matched this weekend & our "sisters" will be receiving support monthly to aid them & their children, most of them have seen their mothers raped & beaten right before their very eyes, now have the opportunity all year long to watch them achieve bigger & better things & Angels On The Fairway have made that dream a reality. If there are any Angels or donators interested in going deeper then sending the women money there is also a letter writing program where we can have direct contact & info from our "sister" on a regular basis to track her & her family's progress over the coming year.
